Hong Kong Ocean Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island. The larger of two sections is on the highlands on Mount Nanlang. The smaller section is in the Huang Zhu Keng Valley lowlands. With an area of 170 miles, it's one of the largest ocean parks in the world. The two entrances to Ocean Park (Tai Shue Wan Entrance and Main Entrance) are connected by cable-car.
As the biggest amusement park in Southeast Asia, the Ocean Park processes an area of 170 acres. In the park, Ocean Hall, Ocean Theatre and Shark's Hall provide you a chance to explore mysteries of the ocean; Bird's Garden and Butterflies' House are lively and interesting; the Trip of Extreme Speed and the Ship Swinging to the Sky are challenge to your courage; Kingdom Garden, Super Dynamic Cinema and Big Panda House and the like are children's favorites; besides, visitors can see the interesting performance of dolphins. Thus, it is worthy of spending a whole day in the Ocean Park.
Additionally, taking a tram in the park is also very interesting. Hung in a cart, you don't know when the tram starts and the vast sea is just below you, but it is only a small part of the whole thrilling and dangerous journey. Please pay attention to the outdoor handrail elevator when you are leaving, it is the second biggest one in the world.
