Tour of Hainan(Nov. 1-Nov. 30, 2009): Tour of Hainan is held around the end of a year. It has become one of the highest-leveled, largest-scaled international highway cycling races in the world. The race ranks intercontinental 2.1 grades; the route includes all types of road races, like flat roads, hills, mountains and others, with a total mileage of more than 1000 kilometers. Teams qualifying this race upgrade from UCI professional teams, UCI continental professional teams, UCI continental teams to national teams. Every year teams of high level are invited to the race from five continents. The race has set off a cycling boom in Hainan.

Xiamen International Marathon(Jan. 27-Feb. 3, 2009): Xiamen International Marathon, organized by the Chinese Athletics Association and the Xiamen Municipal Government, is China's only international marathon in the spring, and the only Marathon track along the sea coast. Together with the Beijing International Marathon, they are the two major Marathon races in China.
Float Parade(Oct. 1-Oct. 7, 2009): The float parade consists of the theme floats and performance phalanx, aiming to share the passion and joy. It highlights the harmonious integration of local unique customs and the international style. Currently participants include floats from other domestic provinces, Taiwan and foreign teams.
