Established in 2004, the Beijing International Music Festival is a celebration of classical music from throughout the world as well as China. Collaboration makes this festival an outstanding event in music and music appreciation.
This one of the most important events in classical music within the People's Republic of China. Participants come from all over the world to perform at this major classical music event.
Collaboration and Competition
Sponsored by the Beijing International Music Festival and Academy, the event brings together student ensembles and collaborations between artists, students and faculty of the academy. Pianists, violinists, violists, cellists and others come together to perform outstanding musical selections. There is also a Concerto Competition among the students, with presentation of awards at the Gala Finale Concert.
